Copyright Policy

All artwork, designs, images, text, and creative content produced by Aimee Richards-Roode (the artist) are protected under UK and international copyright law.

By purchasing, downloading, or viewing any artwork by the artist, you agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Copyright Ownership

All artwork remains the exclusive intellectual property of Aimee Richards-Roode (Roode Rose Art), Including but not limited to:

  • Original painting

  • Prints

  • Digital Downloads

  • Commissions

  • NFT's

  • Social media images

  • Work in progress, sketches, and concepts

Copyright is not transferred with any purchase unless explicitly stated in writing.​

2. Personal Use Licence 

Unless otherwise specified, all purchases include a personal use licence only.

​

This means you MAY:

  • Print the artwork for personal display

  • gift the printed artwork to a friend

  • Display the art digitally on your devices

  • Share photos or videos of the artwork as it appears in your home, in a frame, on your wall, or in a room setting.

  • Post lifestyle or decor photos featuring the physical print or painting you bought.

  • Tag me when you share it (always appreciated by not required).

You may NOT:

  • Resell, copy, reproduce, distribute, or commercially use the artwork

  • Upload, share, or post the digital file itself anywhere online (including websites, social media, or any platform where it can be copied, downloaded, or screenshotted).

  • Upload the artwork in a way the gives others access to the high-resolution image or allows reproduction/ printing.

  •  Remove my signature/watermark.

  • Modify or edit the artwork.

  • Mint the artwork as an NFT

  • Claim the artwork as your own

Any breach is considered copyright infringement.

3.Commercial Use

Commercial rights are not included unless the artist provides a separate signed licence argement.

Commercial use includes (but is not limited to): 

  • Selling products featuring the artwork

  • Using the artwork in marketing or advertising

  • using the artwork in bussine branding 

  • using the artwork in videos, games, or media

4. NFT's

​

​Purchasing an NFT created by the artist grants ownership of the token only, not the underlying work.

​

Buyers of NFT's:

  • MAY display, trade, or resell the NFT

  • May NOT reproduce, print, merchandise, or commercially use the artwork

  • May NOT mint new NFT's or derivatives

​

All copyright remains with the artist.

​

5. Social Media Use

You may share the Arist's work on social media with credit, as long as:

  1. The artwork is not altered

  2. The watermark/signature remains intact

  3. The artist is clearly named or tagged

​

6. Copyright Violations

Any unauthorized copying, printing, reproduction, uploading, selling, or commercial use of the artwork is a copyright violation.

The artist reserves the right to:

  • Issue DMCA takedowns

  • Request removal from market place/ social media

  • Pursue legal action where necessary

  • charge licensing or infringement fees
