1. General

All commissions are created by Aimee Richards-Roode trading as Roode Rose Art. Each piece is original, hand painted and artistic style may vary slightly from previous work.

Submitting a commission form does not guarantee acceptance. I reserve the right to decline a request for any reason.

2. Pricing & payment

• Pricing are agreed upon before work begins.

• A no refundable deposit of 50% is required to secure your commission.

• the remaining balance must be paid before the final artwork is delivered or shipped.

• Payments must be made within the agreed timeframe or the commission may be cancelled.

3. Refunds & Cancellations

• Deposits are non refundable once work has started

• If you cancel the commission after work has begun, no refund will be issued.

• If I am unable to complete your commission for any reason, you will receive a full refund of any payments made.

4. Revisions

• ​Minor revisions are included at sketch or early stages.

• Additional revisions or major changes may incur an extra fee.

• Once The artwork is approved or completed, any further changes may be possible subject to discussion with the artist and may incur an additional fee.

5. Timeline

• Estimated completion times will be discussed in advance.

• Timelines are estimates and may vary due to workload, drying times, or unforeseen circumstances.

• You will be kept informed of any delays.

• Clients are welcome to enquire about the progress of their commission at any time, and reasonable updates will be provided upon request.

6. Shipping & Delivery

• Shipping costs are the responsibility of the client unless stated otherwise.

• The client is responsible for choosing their preferred delivery method. If a delivery option without tracking, insurance, or signature confirmation is selected, this is done at the clients own risk.

• I am not responsible for loss, damage, or delays caused by postal or courier services once the artwork has been dispatched.

• For this reason, I strongly recommend a tracked and signed for delivery service for all original artworks.

• All artworks are packaged securely to minimise the risk of damage during transit.

​7. Copyright & Usage

• The artist retains full copyright to all commissioned artwork

• You may not reproduce, sell, or use the artwork for commercial purposes without written permission.

• I reserve the right to share images of completed commissions on my website and social media unless otherwise agreed in writing. If you would prefer your commission to remain private, please let me know when finalising your order.

8. Client Responsibilities

• You are responsible for providing clear and accurate references material and details.

• I am not responsible for dissatisfaction due to vague, missing, or late information.

9. Agreement

By submitting a commission request and making a payment, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these terms & conditions.
