Hello! I'm Aimee and i'm the founder of Roode Rose Art.

The Art Story
My creative journey began when i was very young. i was always expressing myself through art, movement and through anything that allowed my spirit to speak. Growing up in the peaceful countryside of North Devon, surrounded by animals and the beauty of nature, i developed a deep connection to the world around me. That connection has always been my quiet source of inspiration.

As i got older, I followed my love for performing arts and studied it in college. But as time went on, I realised the my soul was searching for something deeper, something more authentic, something more.. Me. After college, i began experimenting with special effects makeup and while i loved creating, my busy life as a manager left little time for passion.
​
Eventually, I made the brave choice to leave that path behind. working as a postie gave me more time and space to breathe again.. to create just for the joy of it. That's when i found my true calling in painting. I fell in love with the feeling of colour flowing across a canvas, the way emotions could be translated in to form.(And yes, it certainly helped that there was far less cleanup than makeup!)

As i filled pages and canvases with colour and emotion, i began to feel something awakening within me.. a quiet whisper from the universe guiding me towards my purpose. Then life stepped in to make sure i listened. After a split tear injury to my tibial tendon, I could no longer continue my postal work. what could have felt like and ending became a divine redirection.. a sacred pause that allowed me to finally follow my true path.

On September 28th 2025, I stopped waiting for the perfect moment and began trusting the flow. With faith, love, and the incredible support of my partner, Healing in Colour was born.. a space where creativity, and spirit intertwine.
​
Through my art, I hope to inspire others to reconnect with their own light, to find peace in colour, and to remember that every ending is just a new beginning from the universe.
The Spiritual Enlightenment
My spiritual journey started in 2014, when I have my very first tarot reading. I was only fourteen, but something inside me instantly knew there was so much more to life than what we see on the surface. That first reading opened a doorway.. a deep curiosity about energy, intuition and the unseen world.

Not long after, my mum and I began exploring together. We went on overnight ghost hunts, joined spiritual sessions, and spent countless nights talking about signs, spirits, and the mysteries of the universe. Those experiences not only deepened my connection to spirit but also created a beautiful bond between us that i'll always cherish.
​
The spark to become a healer myself came much later, in early 2025, when I had my second tarot reading with the same reader who introduced me to tarot twelve years earlier. That experience reignited something within me. It reminded me of how it all began, but this time, I felt called to step fully into it.
​
Over the next six months, i dedicated myself to learning and practicing tarot almost everyday. My intuition grew stronger, and soon I found myself drawn to other forms of divination like, pendulum work, tea leaf readings, oracle cards and more recently dowsing rods. Each tool became another language for connection with spirit and helping others find guidance, clarity and peace.

Today, I feel deeply grateful to be able to share this side of my journey with others. I truly love offering readings, hearing peoples stories, and witnessing how spirit weaves throught their lives. Every session reminds me that we are all guided, all connected, and all capable of transforming our lives with love, trust and a little bit of magic.
